Daytona is a young, four piece rock band based in London. It was created by the guitarist, Sten Mars, in 2011. After one or two changes in the line up, session singer Luke Gessner and session drummer Ed Thorne joined the band to establish the sound Sten had been seeking for his songs.

Daytona’s style lies somewhere between The Killers, Foo Fighters and The Beatles. All the songs are original and modern, even though the roots are steeped in traditional rock, as a result of which the music ranges from the radio-style, electro rock Believe it or Leave to the purely acoustic Legacy.

Due to the diverse ethnicity of its members the band brings something different to the rock arena.
