Danny Bench was born in Essex in 1975, now aged 46. Having developed a passion for music from a very young age, he decided to explore the opportunity of becoming a DJ and purchased his first set of decks at the age of just 18, subsequently mastering the art of DJ’ing which would eventually take him forward on his journey into the music industry.

With his new-found skill, Danny hit the club scene aged 22, where he spent many years ‘playing out’ in various clubs across London and the South East; he particularly enjoyed his own successful club night which he promoted called ‘Lush’ that took place in Chelmsford.

Danny’s influencers include DJ Spen, Frankie Knuckles, Joey Negro and Jamie Lewis & Masters at Work. Danny loves listening to music every day and continues to add to his already huge music collection, daily. He only ever buys music that you can feel, he says that “everyone can hear music, but not everyone can feel it”. During his music career Danny has been fortunate enough to be the official designer for DJ Spen and Quantize Recordings, plus he has also designed for Bobby & Steve, Groove Odyssey, Booker T and many more DJs and labels.

Danny has more recently taken time out from DJ’ing, concentrating his efforts on his very successful mural business. He is a keen artist and offers exclusive designs which are hand-painted by himself.
