Biography

A DJ of over 20 years experience Dan has gone through various guises and styles to eventually settle in to Deep House back in the early 2000's.

Under the alias Hi-jaq, Dan has played at clubs and events up and down the country and this has seen him on the same bill as some of the biggest acts in Dance Music history. He has played at almost every event and club of note in the east Lancashire area, but his proudest moments were at clubs such as Sankeys in Manchester, the legendary Bed in Sheffield and Love2be in Leeds to name but a few, alongside acts such as Groove Armada, Harry Choo Choo Romero, Felix Da Housecat, Shape Shifters, K-Klass & Rhythm Masters.

In more recent times, after stepping back from the music industry, Dan continued his love affair with House Music by concentrating on production and promoting events in the Lancashire area, starting in 2015.

Along with continued ventures in the studio and future projects looking very promising, Dan continues to put himself back on the map in the House Music scene, with his own distinctive funky Tech House sound.
