Chris Stringer is a singer-songwriter from Wales, based in London. His sound blends the soulfulness of folk music, the grit of 90s rock - and the spirit of 80s pop! Chris has built a name for himself a solo artist in his own right, but the addition of his band The Rocketeers in 2017 gave the songs the full sound to match Stringer's soaring vocals and evocative lyrics. After the release of their crowdfunded debut album Sinking Ships in 2019, 2020 saw the band manage to remotely record and release two singles; the reflective and summery 'Making Wishes', and the Christmas single 'Next Year', which received airplay on BBC Radio Wales. Now the world is starting to move again, Chris is ready to return to what he does best - soaring alt country and blinding 80s covers.
