Fittingly conceived on a rainy Tuesday night in a converted Victorian toilet better known as the Temple of Convenience, Chips With Everything is an Mancunian institution, lurching from venue to venue throughout the city, across the UK and into Europe – and spawning an offshoot record label (Chips Records), bands (including the ineffable Stazi), and even an 8-piece all-girl dance troupe (Troupe), in the process. Now in their 19th year, they’ll be reporting for duty at the New Oxford.
