Calan is a fresh young band from Wales. The group brings new life to the traditional Welsh music they play. They were formed in 2006, and have one CD out. The CD, which is titled Bling, was released in 2008. The jewel case and booklet are printed in both Welsh and English - homage to the thriving Gaelic tongue.

Calan is comprised of five members:

Angharad Jenkins - fiddle, mandolin, vocals

Bethan Williams-Jones - accordion, piano, vocals, clogs

Chris Ab Alun - guitar

Llinos Eleri Jones - harp
