A six piece original Scottish Ska band, Big Fat Panda were formed by a group of friends who have been playing in various well known bands on the Scottish/UK ska scene for a number of years. The guys decided they could have more fun playing together than apart, and pooling their individual talents and experience the Panda`s were born…Born to skank!

The band’s influences are drawn from original birthplace of Ska - Rock Steady & Reggae, and span the decades that have served the genre well.

Full of fun, but at the same time serious song writers, Big Fat Panda are an exciting live act and combine a mixture of their own original work and some unmissable and immediately identifiable classics that not only the Ska Music fans will enjoy, but anyone who remembers the massive swell in popularity Ska Music enjoyed in the late 1970s and the early 1980s.
