Carlisle born and raised Evan Beattie, known behind the decks as BeatE, originally started his musical journey off as a rapper/lyricist, rapping over UK hip hop and trap beats, but when he turned 18 and started going to raves and parties, the 4 on the floor house beats and hard hitting bass lines inspired him to make the huge genre and creative switch to being a DJ/Producer, producing Tech House to begin with, then eventually realising his minimalistic style of production was much more suited to the sub genre Minimal/DeepTech.

The BeatE sound signature consists of hard hitting rolling sub bass over thick choppy beats and tight tech percussion, often accompanied by electronic style synths and wavey atmospheres.
