Formed in 2008, Gosport, Southern England, four-piece Bear Cavalry are a band consisting of Louis Pinder (Guitar, Vocals, Synth), Dan Kirk (Guitar, Trumpet, Synth), Owen Ballantyne (Bass) and Matthew Cooke (Drums). They play spindley math rock guitars with an experimental indie attitude. In 2009 they released a self-recorded EP called Two Seasons and in 2010 released another free EP entitled Canadia. Both of which can be downloaded for free from the band's Bandcamp page.
