Alvin picked up a cornet as a 13 year-old schoolboy, in Handsworth, Birmingham. Alvin soon discovered what he had been
looking for the expressive sound of the Alto saxophone that has now become his main voice.
As a session player and music teacher, Alvin has worked with the likes of Maxi Priest, Edwin Starr, Gwen Dicky (Rose Royce)
