Alexander O'Neal is an R&B singer hailing from Mississippi most famous for his part in the band Flyte Time that was signed by Prince to Warner Bros until a later dispute meant that O'Neal left the band.

He is responsible for acclaimed hits "If You Were Here Tonight", "Criticize" and "Fake" that helped define him as one of the great R&B singers of his generation.
