Alex Ferrer is a DJ, producer and label owner who has become one of Spain’s finest exports in house music throughout recent years. And he likes to party.

Alex has been related to the music industry since his early teens, emerging from a background of House and Garage and been heavily influenced by an upbringing of Latin, Funk, Disco and Soul, he has since featured on a mammoth list of DJ line-ups, radio shows, flyers and music releases. His diverse quality sound and distinctive image ensures a dedicated following wherever he plays.

As a former Spanish diplomat, Alex got to travel around, attending all the events and clubs ever built on the globe, obtaining a big scope of electronica in general, and house music in particular. His credentials include an eye-watering list of worldwide tours, residencies and headline appearances all over the world.

Founder of Deeplomatic Recordings, a label which releases tracks from house legends such as Rick Wade, Jesse Saunders, Paul Johnson, Joeski or Gene Hunt, Alex Ferrer is also working on several musical projects; one of them is Moonkey, a duo responsible for a high output of a sleek, intelligent yet driving strain of house. Further solo productions include the EP Wanderlust which will be released on April 2015.

He is also the co-founder of Coincidance Music Festival, an electronic music event held every year in hand-picked locations all over the world (Playa del Carmen, Ibiza, Bali…).

Always with a keen eye on bringing new talent through, Alex uses Deeplomatic Recordings as a platform to break new and exciting young producers as well as maintaining a desire to put out quality releases from other stalwarts of the scene.
