After forging a name for himself performing alongside multidisciplinary artists such as Greentea Peng, Loyle Carner, Anaiis, Lex Amor, Kokoroko, and co-writing and producing for artists such as Joy Crookes, Skepta, 6lack and Louis Culture, Alex’s first solo offering serves as a window that gives listeners a glimpse and insight into his layered journey so far, a journey of musical transcendence and self-discovery, that transports the listener to place of escapism.

Alex Cosmo Blake is a composer, guitarist, and producer from South London. A virtuoso on his instrument, Alex cut his teeth accompanying artists such as Arlo Parks, Not3s, Jaz Karis and Project Karnak on stage at festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, and across the globe from touring throughout Europe, to Japan and at iconic venues across London.

With the goal of compiling together an iconic discography, Alex turned his hand to composition and production. Through his own volition, Alex began working with renowned composers and producers such as J Warner, P2J, Ari Pensmith, Tsb, I.O Cheffin, E.Y and Fwdslxsh (their respective discography’s span artists such as Wizkid, Jhus, Alicia Keys, 6lack, Goldlink and Stormzy). Standout producing credits include working on Jhus’s latest album the Beautiful and Brutal Yard and 6lack’s long awaited new album, Since I Have a Lover.

The open nature of Alex’s music allows it be to be delivered in multiple ways for a live show for a multitude of different performance spaces. Ranging from an intense, attention demanding opening slot to a more delicate and intimate display of emotion – each with the highest attention to sonic detail.
