AKAJackie has built a stellar reputation on the Manchester scene having played for some of the city's finest parties including Homoelectric, Homobloc Presents, Supernature Disco, Club Solo, Sticky Heat, Your Disco Needs You and DeRanged Nights amongst others. Appearing on line ups with big hitters such as Luke Una, DJ Paulette and Colleen Cosmo Murphy, he has brought his vibes to top venues including Hidden, The Refuge, Joshua Brooks, Ramona, Carlton Club. He has also played further afield at 110 above festival, Not a Cult festival, 24 Kitchen St in Liverpool and Sheaf St in Leeds. In 2025 he was a resident DJ at Lost Village festival in Lincolnshire.

He stands out with his unique blend of a multitude of genres. Rooted in house and always in the groove- expect thick bass lines, piano slammers, soulful vocals, left-field disco, electro, italo, classic disco and house and the edgier sounds of minimal and deep tech. He has contributed to radio shows on Svara, Komrad and also Reform Radio- with a special guest mix for Manchester disco royalty Supernature. He hosts his own series “Beyond Planet Funk” on Data Transmission Radio.
