A dot R is a music producer and DJ who was born and grew up in Birmingham. From a young age, he was surrounded by UK Garage, Grime, Hip-Hop R+B and Reggae, it was these genres that unknowingly shaped his path into music and have such a strong influence on the music he produces today.

Renowned for his catalogue of weighty club anthems, such as, ‘You break me down’ featuring the talented Rae Rae and ‘Make up your mind’ amongst many others, he has become a prominent figure in the UK garage and Bassline scene.

He has since gained support from the likes of DJ Q, Ras Kwame, Jamie Duggan and many more, leading to airtime on some of the UK’s favourite radio stations, such as; Radio 1, Radio 1xtra and Kiss FM.

A dot R’s career has thrived off his unique sound, infusing catchy melodies and vocals with heavy bassline, leading many of the up and coming producers in todays scene to draw influence from his music. Now established as one of the most respected members of the bassline scene, with his track ‘Walk Away’ selected as the best UK Garage song of the year on Radio 1xtra, A dot R knows no limit.

Having recently released his bassline catalogue, alongside his new e.p and 3 singles, 2019 is due to be a massive year for AdotR.
