Founded the social activist company Speakable which landed her on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list shortly after. Began releasing music as Tenderhooks before adopting the Jordan Joy name. Dream-pop, indie rock and late-night synth combine in her sound which is further inspired by New Order, LCD Soundsystem and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
