8bitmoon is an electronic music band based in the North West, UK. Their hybrid sound fuses influences from soul, jazz, hip hop, electronica and trip hop with delicate vocals and nimble hooks to create seductively heady music. The project began following a musical collaboration between producer, musician and composer Josh Crocker and Welsh singer song writer Ruth Williams in 2007. Having enjoyed working together in this capacity and sharing musical musings, the pair began to experiment with sound and song with a view to co-creating something genuine and constructive.
