Practical details

When: 2nd Tuesday each month (except December), from 7pm

Cost: Free to attend. The venue asks that everyone buys a drink at full price

Dress: Smart casual (no sportswear). Over 25s only; ID may be requested

The venue

A bar with a large beer garden, rated 4.3 from more than 1,150 reviews, open from 4pm to midnight Monday to Wednesday and later from Thursday. Reviewers highlight the substantial outdoor area with lighting, and note the indoor bar is comparatively small.

Getting there

The venue is on West 20th Street in the Houston Heights, north-west of downtown. The METRORail lines do not serve the Heights, so arrival is by car or rideshare. The surrounding stretch of 20th Street has a cluster of bars and restaurants within walking distance of one another, with street and lot parking nearby.
