extremely disappointed regarding the Monster Truck Fest held recently in Pickering. While I attended with high expectations for a professional family event, the experience was significantly marred by technical failures, poor quality, and misleading descriptions.
My concerns include the following:
• Mechanical Failures: Despite the £50 tick*t price, the monster truck broke down twice and was active for a total of approximately ten minutes. As the main attraction, this level of failure is unacceptable and meant the event failed to deliver its primary entertainment.
• Subpar Catering: I paid £14 for two hotdogs that were stale and of incredibly poor quality. Charging premium prices for food that is barely edible is a poor reflection on your event standards.
• Misrepresented Activities: The advertised "foam party" was essentially just a foam cannon aimed at the grass near a fence. This simply created a mess of mucky foam blowing everywhere rather than the organized activity described. Furthermore, there were no "characters" walking around as expected, leaving the atmosphere quite hollow.
I feel that the event fell significantly short of the professional standards suggested by the entry fee. Given that the main event was barely functional and the additional activities were poorly executed, I do not believe I received the service I paid for.

Review of Monster Truck Motorfest North Yorkshire

It was only one monster truck, done the same jump 6 times and that was finished. We just lost money and time. Very disappointed 😞

very disappointed we didn't get to see the monster trucks as they were broken the rides were very expensive so it was a costly day as our grandkids we tried to entertain them waiting for the monster trucks but we came away as they were trying to fix them, so very dissatisfied 

Drove two hours to take my one year old so he could see the Miss Rachel tribute. She was supposed to be on at 2.20 so we sat waiting. A K-pop group came on instead which we sat through for 45 mins only to be announced after that Miss Rachel wouldn't be on until 4.30 which was way too long to have my child wait and wasn't suitable for his bedtime. Lots of parents also left at this point who had young children wanting to see Miss Rachel. My 1 year old went on two rides instead and we left after- two rides which cost us £70! (Tick*t prices)
