Jazz on the Plaza is delighted to welcome one of the UK's most celebrated jazz musicians, Mark Lockheart, for a special evening of music in an intimate duo setting with pianist Terence Collie.

A towering figure on the British and European jazz scene, Mark Lockheart first came to prominence as a founding member of the groundbreaking big band Loose Tubes and has since enjoyed an acclaimed international career spanning more than four decades. His work with Polar Bear, Perfect Houseplants, Kenny Wheeler, Django Bates and many others has established him as one of the most distinctive and lyrical voices in contemporary jazz.

Joined by award-winning pianist and composer Terence Collie, this rare duo performance promises an evening of musical conversation, spontaneity and artistry, showcasing two musicians who share a deep commitment to communication, creativity and listening.
