Poppy Jam are the kind of act where free entry starts to feel like you're getting away with something.

The Birmingham five-piece cover more ground than most bands dare to attempt. Pop, classic rock, soul, disco. One moment it's Whitney Houston or Aretha Franklin, the next it's Queen, ABBA, Tina Turner, or a full swing into AC/DC and Bon Jovi territory.

Poppy Jam know how to read a crowd, how to pace a night, and how to make a room full of strangers feel like they came together. By the end of the set, it always seems like they did.
