Hatchfest Boutique Charity Music Festival. Raising funds for Christie Cancer Fund & East Cheshire Hospice. Every year in September we hold our exciting and popular, family music festival, known as Hatchfest. The festival site is in the beautiful Cheshire village of Mottram St Andrew, an area of outstanding beauty with rolling hills, forests and lakes making it an enviable setting for any live event. We continue to build on our success and with each passing year we attract more entertainers, more stalls and more festival goers coming to enjoy a great weekend. 2017 is already shaping up to be the biggest and best Hatchfest ever! Hatchfest was created through its founder, Mark Hatch. Mark, a renowned musician, travelled the world in a band with his sister Karen. She was the lead vocalist and Mark was the drummer. Tragedy struck the Hatch family in October 2014 when Karen learned that she had cancer. After a long and brave battle, Mark’s much loved and talented sister sadly passed away. Mark felt the loss profoundly and became driven to turn his sister's needless and premature death into something positive. In a flash of inspiration Mark decided there would be no better way to celebrate Karen's life than with a musical festival, with a focus on raising funds for charity – in September 2015, Hatchfest was born. This year is bigger than ever with over 30 live Bands & Acts across the main stage and Acoustic tent. Headliners include Butterfly Jam, Faraday, Bright Back, George Borowski, The High and many more. As well, our brand new Dome DJ Tent plus the Jacked & Simitu Tent features some of the worlds finest DJs throughout the weekend. Headliners include K-Klass, Paul Pleasedale, Alan Hartley, Dave Law, David Dunne, Flippant Rhythm & many more. There is a full weekend of attractions for the family as listed and loads of surprises throughout.
