About

Calling all Young Creators!

Do you want to experience fun, free and creative workshops with experienced music practitioners? This is available for all levels of ability - whether you're a beginner or a more experienced musicican or creator, we'll have you performing and creating confidently by the end of the 4 week programme.

All music tastes, styles and genres can be explored!

2 May - 1pm - 4pm

9 May 1pm - 4pm

16 May 10am - 4pm

Information for Parents & Carers 

These workshops are for young people aged 13–16.

A parent or carer must bring the young person to the Young Creative Centre at the start of the session to complete registration and meet the workshop team.

At registration, parents/carers will be asked to:

  • Provide emergency contact details
  • Share any relevant medical, access or dietary information
  • Confirm collection arrangements
  • Complete consent relating to photography/filming, where applicable

Young people will be signed in and out for each session.

Participants should not be left at the venue until registration has been completed.

Please note that participants will remain on site for the duration of the session unless collected and signed out by a parent or carer.

Further joining information will be sent in advance of the workshop.

Instruments

A range of musical instruments and PA are available, but you are also welcome to bring your own

What you'll gain

New friends, new knowledge, fun and at the end a new live multimedia project with music and visual creative elements combined

Need to Know

The event is free and runs over four sessioma, ending with a showcase on Wednesday 20th May with a live performance. Friends and family are welcome to join to celebrate your achievement. (Venus TBC)

It is recommended you attend all four sessions to fully benefit from the whole experience but this isn't essential

Please note, a parent or guardian should very briefly attend the first session to fill out a basic form
