Spend Christmas Day at the Royal Maritime - a five-course celebration in our elegant restaurant, just minutes from the Historic Dockyard, with a warm welcome and a glass of buck's fizz from the moment you arrive.

The Day

Arrive to a glass of buck's fizz and a chef's amuse bouche. Settle in to a beautifully prepared five-course Christmas menu by Chef Peter Vella - bringing together the classics of a traditional British Christmas with thoughtful contemporary touches, and generous vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options on every course. Coffee and mince pies to finish.

On Arrival

A glass of buck's fizz and our chef's amuse bouche.

Starters

• Roasted Red Pepper & Sweet Potato Soup with crispy kale and warm garlic croute(V, VE, GF)

• Venison & Pancetta Terrine with orange and radish salad and plum compote

• Smoked Scottish Salmon Parcel with potato and chive salad, cumin-roasted beetroot and wild herb sour cream

• Bruschetta with mozzarella, broad beans, snow peas, radish and mint with chilli and lime dressing(V, VE, GF)

Mains

• Traditional Roast Turkey & Baked Ham with pigs in blankets, savoury herb stuffing, all the trimmings, cranberry and bread sauce

• Slow-Braised Feather Blade of Beef with cheese, chive and bacon mashed potatoes and red wine jus(GF)

• Baked Fillet of Sea Bass with royal new potatoes, runner beans, celeriac purée and braised chicory(GF)

• Jackfruit Bourguignon with mashed potato and steamed green vegetable medley(V, VE, GF)

Desserts

• Panna Cotta with crushed granola, edible flowers and raspberry sorbet(V, GF)

• Warm Honeycomb Brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla pod ice cream(V, VE)

• Baked Crème Brûlée Cheesecake with raspberry coulis and clotted cream

• Christmas Pudding with warm brandy sauce(GF, VE, AF)

Little Guests

Children under 12 are very welcome at £55 per child. Our kitchen will prepare smaller portions of the main menu, or a dedicated children's menu can be arranged - your choice. Just let our events team know what suits when we confirm menu choices one month before Christmas Day.
