The Pride Cafe Newcastle is a relaxed, stylish place for LGBT people, their families, friends and supporters to meet, eat, drink. Its Casual Dining in the Heart of the scene. The Pride Cafe Newcastle is a relaxed, stylish place for LGBT people, their families, friends and supporters to meet, eat, drink and “hang out” in relaxed, stylish surroundings. The money we make from running the cafe helps to develop and run the rest of the centre. The NGS Trust charity is being developed to coordinate community development.

The Community Space: The heart of the Centre is the first floor room running from the front to the back of the building. It’s big enough for 80 people to do anything from choir practice to yoga or a public meeting or a birthday party. We’re raising money to complete vital works and to install audio visual equipment. We look forward to showcasing local visual artists by turning the space into a gallery, as well as presenting craft makers work, musicians and performing artists. We’re making LGBT space, but we will encourage other groups to use it as a way to build bridges between us and them!
