Slow Slow Loris is a duo whose industrial noise melodies merge with the visceral avant-garde to create epic and delicate storms of sound that worship the unknown, a sonic sorcery through voice and electronics. Based in both Berlin and the US, they have released albums on Cloister Recordings, Zaetraom, & Staaltape and have toured Europe, Russia, and the USA.
"The animal slow loris is an endangered species. It is believed to be the gatekeepers for the heavens and is used in traditional medicine to ward off evil, but a slow loris is continually seeing ghosts, that is why it hides its face in its hands."
Algorithms: A battle between man and machine where kinetic curiosity meets mechanical noise. sometimes drums. sometimes visuals. embraces friction like a frenzied lab experiment gone wrong. using impatiently-made imperfectly-built diy instruments and scavenged objects to create a sonic quob of industrial rhythms and rusty harmonics.
Grasping at Reality: Onmi-shambolic musical noise from Teesside. A collection of words and music nestled within the world of the obtuse, hanging onto reality by the tips of its fingers.
Self-proclaimed "Pig", Chris and Producer Kev are railing against the machine. Fighting despair with humour and public mental breakdowns.
They are pissed off, but still laughing away at their final minutes like overlords.
Evil Genius' or just lunatics? You be the jury.
(FFO: Ghostigital, Death Grips, & Phil Collins)
