

Flute player Delphine Joussein (Nout, Kit Downs duo, Trunk, Flojter, Kabarila, Boolvar, Sauvages Paradis, Brut Sextet) brings her solo project Calamity to Cafe Etch in Middlesbrough.
Growing up in a musical family, Delphine Joussein began playing the flute at the age of nine. In 2002, she graduated with a unanimous first-class diploma in flute performance, receiving the jury's highest honors. Heavily influenced by the extended family of jazz and rock, she has developed a flute style where voice and electronics are ever-present.
