Little Sparrow + Special Guests Live at the Monastery Manchester

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Little Sparrow headlines a special afternoon of live music at The Monastery Manchester, presented by Red Balloon Music.

Set within the breathtaking surroundings of the Monastery’s Great Nave, this intimate concert brings together an outstanding lineup of independent artists including Xan Tyler, The Dove & The Dragon, and We Were Strangers.

Little Sparrow is the musical project of singer-songwriter Katie Ware, whose distinctive voice and beautifully crafted songs have earned national airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing. Known for her emotionally rich songwriting and captivating stage presence, she performs alongside a talented band featuring harmonies, strings, guitars, pedal steel and percussion.

Supporting artists add further depth to the afternoon’s programme. Xan Tyler, whose solo album Holding Up Half The Sky reached number 4 in the Scottish Album Chart, brings her acclaimed songwriting and powerful vocals. The Dove & The Dragon, the project of Kitty Davies, blends English folk influences with Americana-inspired songwriting. We Were Strangers, the project of Manchester songwriter Stefan Melbourne, delivers cinematic alternative folk that has featured in major film and television trailers.

Presented by Red Balloon Music, this intimate concert offers audiences the chance to experience exceptional live music inside one of Manchester’s most remarkable heritage venues.
