Hens On The Range
PHELLOTAPE
‘Phellotape’ comprises two Manchester musicians, vocalist and double bassist Alice Phelps and multi-instrumentalist producer Thomas ‘Twem’ Twemlow, who met whilst playing for queer alt-rock band, The Irrepressibles.
The duo draws on a wide range of sonic influences such as Massive Attack, Dirty Projectors and Feist, with Alice’s lyrics exploring the complexities of love, desire and living with loss.
ZOE KYOTI & OLIVIA MOORE
Zoe Kyoti’s sound is an exotic blend of world blues, folk, roots traditions distilled into heartfelt songs, with just enough dark side to exude a heady sense of danger and a singing style as intimate as speech. Perfectly complimented by entrancing, grammy nominated violinist Olivia Moore, who’s intoxicating, microtonality- infected playing style has seen her work with luminaries across jazz and world music.
786AM
786AM (786 Aminah Music) is a Mancunian busker often found outside NEXT near the Printworks in Manchester City Centre. She never knows what she going to play next as she prefers the spontaneous life, so buckle up for some songs from the heart, some dad jokes and some storytime! ❤️
