About

Four years after their Joshua Brooks debut, Oden & Fatzo return to Manchester for a live performance in the basement.

The French electronic duo have become one of the most in-demand acts in global dance music. Their breakthrough "Lauren", a rework of Men I Trust's original, has surpassed 115 million Spotify streams and earned Gold Discs in the UK and Australia alongside Platinum in Ireland. Since signing to Defected Records, the momentum has continued — "Lady Love" featuring Camden Cox has passed 74 million streams, while "Tell Me What You Want" featuring Poppy Baskcomb now exceeds 79 million streams with a Silver Disc in the UK. Their sound sits at the intersection of UK garage, minimal, house, funk, jazz and hip-hop, delivered through a live show that brings a different energy to the standard DJ set.
Across 2024 and 2025, Oden & Fatzo have appeared at Tomorrowland, Space Miami, III Points Festival, Cercle Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest and Wembley Arena, alongside headline performances worldwide.

Warming things up are Inflair and Lily C-D — the newly crowned Joshua Brooks resident DJs, performing their first set together. Inflair grew up watching his dad spin on Technics on the South Coast, was recording his own mixes at 13, and has been cutting his teeth ever since — running parties, collecting vinyl, and developing a sound rooted in heavy percussion, rolling tech house and deep basslines with jazz and soul threaded through. Lily C-D came up through a different route, raised on electronic music by a mum who lived through the 90s rave scene, then picking up her first decks during lockdown and building from the attic up. Her sets draw on grime vocals, soulful textures and raw energy. Together they represent exactly what a residency should be — proper selectors with distinct identities finding their feet on a sound system that rewards those who know what to do with it.

Joshua Brooks' basement is the right setting for all of this. The Void Acoustics system under the bricked arches gives the low-end weight and the mids clarity — ideal for a live act whose productions are built on groove and detail, and for two emerging residents learning what the room can do.
