About Hay Fever

Hay Fever is a new production of Noël Coward’s comedy directed by Emily Burns. It centres on Judith Bliss, who has retired from life on stage but still misses the applause.

Set at the Blisses’ country home, the story follows a family weekend that quickly unravels when Judith invites a young fan, while each of the other Blisses also have a guest arriving at the same time. The result is a mix of parlour games, put-downs and unrequested encores as the household struggles to host and to compromise.

Before you book

On 27 October, trailer filming will take place at this performance. On 16 November and 19 November, the performance will be filmed. Latecomers will not be admitted on these dates.

Current cast

Christine Baranski, an Emmy, two-time Tony, Screen Actors Guild and Drama Desk winner, makes her West End debut as Judith Bliss. She appears alongside Academy Award nominated stage and screen actor Richard E. Grant.
