Hay Fever is Noël Coward’s comedy in a new production directed by Emily Burns. Emmy, two-time Tony, Screen Actors Guild and Drama Desk winner Christine Baranski makes her West End debut as Judith Bliss, alongside Academy Award nominated Richard E. Grant.
Judith Bliss has retired from life on stage, but at the family’s country home she still misses the applause. When she invites a young fan for the weekend, each member of the Bliss family has a guest of their own arriving at the same time, and the house quickly tips into a weekend of parlour games, put-downs and unrequested encores.
