About Hamilton

Hamilton tells the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today.

The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, presenting “the story of America then, as told by America now”. Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and is directed by Thomas Kail with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler.

Based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton, the production also features musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is appropriate for ages 10+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance into the performance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
