About Hamilton

Hamilton is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States. The show tells that story through a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway.

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. It is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is recommended for ages 10+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder aged 18 or over, and children under 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, although admission cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
