About Hamilton

Hamilton at 79 Victoria Street, London, tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today.

The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, and the production features book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. It is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

The show is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton is suitable for ages 10+ because it contains some strong language. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.

Leslie Odom, Jr. will not appear at performances on 27 to 29 July.
