About Hamilton

Hamilton is a musical about America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States. It is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

The show features book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. It is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, presenting the story of America then through a contemporary musical style.

Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Age guidance: suitable for ages 10+ as the show contains some strong language. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticket holder aged 18 or over. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and entry cannot be guaranteed.
