About Hamilton

Hamilton tells the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the America we know today.

The production features a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, with the story of America then told by America now. It has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. It is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is suitable for ages 10+. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admittance into the performance cannot be guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
