The Hunger Games On Stage is the first theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games and Lionsgate’s motion picture, arriving in London in 2025 at the purpose-built, state-of-the-art Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre. The story follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds in Panem.

An award-winning creative team is behind the production, including playwright Conor McPherson, known for Girl from the North Country and The Weir, and director Matthew Dunster, whose credits include 2:22 A Ghost Story, Hangmen and The Pillowman.

The show brings the original story to the stage in a London venue built for the production.

Running time: Act 1 lasts 1 hour 07 minutes, followed by a 20-minute interval, then Act 2 lasts 1 hour 08 minutes.

Before you book

Age guidance: Under 3s are not permitted. The production is recommended for ages 12 and over, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Content: This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, and references to death, grief and guilt. Refunds: No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
