The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture, premiering in London in 2025. The production follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds in the story’s central struggle of courage, hope and survival.

The creative team includes playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster. The production is presented in a purpose-built venue in Canary Wharf.

It is designed for audiences familiar with The Hunger Games story, bringing the film and book to the stage with a cast led by Katniss Everdeen’s journey through Panem.

Running time: Act 1: 1 hour 07 mins; interval: 20 mins; Act 2: 1 hour 08 mins.

Before you book

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, plus references to death, grief and guilt. A good guide is whether you and your party are comfortable with the level of content within The Hunger Games films. Under 3s are not permitted. We recommend 12+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
