

Oh, Mary! at Trafalgar Theatre is a dark comedy by Cole Escola, directed by Sam Pinkleton. Set in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, it follows a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln as the play examines her life, desires and frustrations through a sharply comic lens.
The production has received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play for Cole Escola and Best Direction of a Play for Sam Pinkleton. The New York Times described it as one of the best comedies in years, and the London transfer stars Mason Alexander Park.

Mason Alexander Park stars in the London transfer. The role of Mary Todd Lincoln is played by Cole Escola from 20 July to 15 August, Jinkx Monsoon from 17 August to 26 September, and Lolly Adefope from 28 September to 5 December. The cast also includes Kate O’Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone, Oliver Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant, Dino Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher, and Giles Terera as Mary’s Husband.
