About Oh, Mary!

Oh, Mary! at the Trafalgar Theatre, London, is a dark comedy by Cole Escola, directed by Sam Pinkleton. Set in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, it follows Mary Todd Lincoln through unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires.

The play received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play, for Cole Escola, and Best Direction of a Play, for Sam Pinkleton. For its London transfer, Mason Alexander Park stars as Mary Todd Lincoln.

The New York Times has described it as “one of the best comedies in years”.

Running time: 1 hour 20 minutes, with no interval.
