About Oh, Mary!

Oh, Mary! at Trafalgar Theatre is an 80-minute one-act play by Cole Escola, directed by Sam Pinkleton. It is an uproariously dark comedy about Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, looking at unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires through the lens of a foolhardy narration.

The production received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play for Cole Escola and Best Direction of a Play for Sam Pinkleton. For the London transfer, Mason Alexander Park stars as Mary Todd Lincoln.

The role of Mary Todd Lincoln will also be played by Cole Escola from 20 July to 15 August, Jinkx Monsoon from 17 August to 26 September, and Lolly Adefope from 28 September to 5 December.

Running time: 1 hour 20 minutes, with no interval.
