About Oh, Mary!

Oh, Mary! at the Trafalgar Theatre in London is a dark comedy by Cole Escola, directed by Sam Pinkleton and starring Mason Alexander Park. It follows Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.

The play looks at Mary’s unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires through a comic lens, presenting a fictionalised take on the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs Lincoln. The London transfer also features Kate O’Donnell, Oliver Stockley, Dino Fetscher and Giles Terera.

Described by The New York Times as “one of the best comedies in years”, Oh, Mary! received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play and Best Direction of a Play.
