Disney’s Hercules at Theatre Royal Drury Lane is a musical inspired by the animated film and based on the ancient myth of Hercules. Set in Ancient Greece, it follows Hercules, who is not quite a god, as he tries to save the world from Hades.
The show combines adventure, self-discovery and love, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, a new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw, and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott.
Ancient Greece, gods and mortals frame a story that moves from zero to hero in a production built for London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
