About Disney's Hercules

Disney's Hercules at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London is a musical inspired by the animated film and based on the ancient myth. Set in Ancient Greece, it follows Hercules, who is not quite a god or a mortal, as he tries to save the world from Hades.

The show brings together adventure, self-discovery and love, with a story that moves from Olympus to the underworld. It is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, a new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott.

The production is billed as a musical at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane, with the original Disney story reshaped for the stage.

Joining him are Candace Furbert as Thalia, Sharlene Hector as Clio, Brianna Ogunbawo as Melpomene, Malinda Parris as Calliope, Robyn Rose-Li as Terpsichore and Kamilla Fernandes as Standby Muse. Mae Ann Jorolan plays Meg, Trevor Dion Nicholas plays Phil, Stephen Carlile plays Hades, and Craig Gallivan and Lee Zarrett play Bob and Charles.
