About Disney's Hercules

Disney's Hercules is playing at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London. Inspired by the animated film and based on the ancient myth, the musical follows Hercules, who is not quite a god and not quite mortal, as he tries to save the world from Hades.

The story is set in Ancient Greece and centres on adventure, self-discovery and love. The production is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott.

This version of Disney’s Hercules brings the myth to the stage in a London theatre setting, with a comic, high-energy approach to Hercules’s journey from zero to hero.

Mae Ann Jorolan plays Meg, Trevor Dion Nicholas plays Phil, Stephen Carlile plays Hades, and Craig Gallivan and Lee Zarrett appear as Bob and Charles.
