About Cabaret

Cabaret at London’s Playhouse Theatre is a new West End production of one of the most successful musicals of all time. The theatre has been transformed into the Kit Kat Club, recreating Berlin’s famous nightclub setting for this production.

The show has won a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival. It features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

The production includes the songs Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and the title number Cabaret.

Key facts: Running time is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes, including an interval. Act 1 runs for 1 hour 40 minutes and Act 2 runs for 45 minutes.

Before you book

The venue opens 75 minutes before the start time. Please arrive by 30 minutes before the performance. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval.

Once the show has started, readmission to the auditorium cannot be guaranteed if you leave your seat during the performance. If you think you may need to leave mid-show, speak to a member of staff before the performance begins. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.

Matt Willis is not scheduled to perform on Wednesday 18th March at 2.00pm and 7.30pm, Thursday 26th March at 7.30pm, Friday 27th March at 7.30pm and Saturday 28th March at 2.00pm and 7.30pm. At these performances, the role of Emcee will be played by Joe Atkinson.
