The Pen Theatre

The Pen Theatre is a new theatre space situated in the Penarth Centre in South Bermondsey, led by Artistic Director MJ Ashton and Associate Director Jack Carvosso. The Pen Theatre host artists who are in the early stages of production, and offers a low-risk space to try out and support new work. At The Pen Theatre, we premier exciting new artists that advocate original thought-provoking writing. The Pen is an intimate and supportive venue, that is a space to test and challenge ideas that have not yet been seen. The Pen Theatre's socially engaged programming challenges the status quo and supports diversity within the arts, empowering the next generation of artists.
