About

"An irresistible thrill!" - Songline Magazine, UK

"...so much love for the craft it seems surreal at times" - Recording Artist Guild, USA

PerKelt - Pagan Speed Folk band - combine in their music all they love. High octane energy acoustic music at neck-breaking speeds, dance-inducing drum beat underneath and mystical pagan lyrics and atmosphere. Fiddle, guitars, drums and bad-ass recorders (sic!) in the hands of masters of their craft who know how to party.

Winners of multiple music awards in the UK, Europe and USA, PerKelt keep gathering accolades from the music industry across the globe and, way more importantly, from the fans with every album they release.

Their current line-up, touring venues and festivals in the UK and Europe, consists of:

Stepan Honc - guitarist and songwriter with degree in classical guitar and way more raw energy than sense.

Olivia Petryszak - arguably the best recorder player in the UK, fresh from her masters degree, who left the early music career to show everyone "what the recorders can f*ikng do!"

Duncan Menzies - Scottish fiddle player with aggressive style and multiple signature moves featuring one leg in the air.

Stefan Macierewicz - drummer (but a real good one, you'll agree!)

PerKelt will be joined by their friends from the band Manteio:

Cellist Garwyn Linnel, vocalist Christina Deva and percussionist/producer Tolga Tres.

Their music is designed as a ritualistic experience, weaving together Hellenic, Anatolian, Sephardic, East Asian, and Celtic influences. Drone-folk, if you wish, that shows real freedom of expression. And expressive they are! Mostly performing in holistic places, wellness retreats, sound baths and conscious events, we are so grateful that they agree to join the craziness of PerKelt and take you to the deepest places within before the pagan speed folk madness begins...
