DEEP-HEAT RIVALRY at The Other Palace is a new parody set in the world of professional ice hockey. It follows sworn enemies Shane Hollandaise and Ilya Stroganoff, two talented hockey superstars whose clashes on the ice are central to the story.

Behind the bruises, body checks and rivalries, the pair are secretly in love. Written and directed by Oliver-nominated Trevor Ashley, the show mixes locker-room drama, forbidden romance, parody songs and comedy in a fast-moving format.

The production includes full-frontal nudity and a score that ranges from power ballad to party pop. It is presented as a comedy that is less about hockey and more about the relationship at its centre.
